Shipping & Returns

Vintage HiFi of Pittsburgh shipping and return policy.

Shipping Destinations:

We currently ship to any physical address in the United States. We do not ship to APOs, FPOs and PO Boxes. At this time,we will ship to international destinations with prior approval and through the Paypal checkout. Email sales@vintagehifishop.com for details. We will only ship to the billing address of your credit card or verified Paypal account. Local pick up is always welcome.

Shipping Methods:

We offer UPS Ground, 3rd Day Select, 2nd Day Air, and Next Day Air Saver, Next Day Air Early A.M. and Next Day Air shipping to all of our customers who place orders to be shipped to one of the 50 United States.

Orders to be shipped out of the 48 contiguous United States (i.e. Alaska and Hawaii) are sent by your choice of UPS Ground, UPS 2nd Day Air, or UPS Next Day Air delivery. These orders are not eligible for UPS 3rd Day Select, Next Day Air Saver, or Next Day Air Early A.M. shipping.

Shipment Delivery Time:

Your expected delivery date is determined by the date of shipment from our shop and the shipping preference you select.

Since UPS does not ship on Saturdays or Sundays (even for express shipping), the actual delivery date may differ from the estimated transit time. For example: A Next Day Air order, leaving our warehouse on a Friday for New York, will not arrive until Monday, even though it has a one day transit time.

Your audio equipment purchase will normally be shipped within two business days of the order. If shipment of your order is delayed, Vintage HiFi of Pittsburgh will notify you by email.

Here’s a quick reference guide for shipping times from when the order leaves our distribution center(s):

Shipping Charges:

Your shipping charge will be based on the billable weight and package size of your order, the distance shipped, and the method you select when ordering (UPS Ground, 3rd Day Select, 2nd Day Air, and Next Day Air Saver, Next Day Air Early A.M. or Next Day Air). We charge standard UPS rates.

Orders Damaged in Shipping:

If you believe a package received from us was damaged in transit, please refuse shipment and tell the carrier that you are refusing delivery because the package is damaged. Then call Vintage HiFi of Pittsburgh at 412-548-3819 or email us at sales@vintagehifishop.com to inform us of the situation. If you are not present at the time of delivery and cannot refuse shipment, contact us to make arrangements to return the damaged order.

Shipping Returns:

Your original shipping charge will only be refunded for a component sent to you in error or an order damaged in shipping. This refund will automatically be credited once we receive and inspect the component. Due to the nature of vintage audio equipment, all equipment is sold "as is" in good functioning condition unless specified otherwise in the listing.
